Prestbury is an ok location, but it would have been better if the tour had been going the other way and the sun had been out, so could be worth looking at in the future! Then, 2 days later at Wilmslow, I added 2 more photos, one of 66539 and one of 57601 heading north with the ECS from the tour back to Manchester, before it went back to London. Bar Alderley Edge, my closest is Chelford, and I have decided this is my favourite spot. Holmes Chapel came second. I also visited Goostrey, but it was a bit too dark with the many trees around so I didn't take any photos there. This visit was better as the Macclesfield - Stoke line wasn't in use, meaning all trains were routed via Wilmslow. I've wanted to visit the Lickey for some time, and so I'm glad that I finally managed it before I leave. We visited Ashchurch, Bankers Bridge, Pikes Pool Lane and Vigo Bridge before I headed off to Tredington after saying farewell to Shaun. A big thank you to him for driving me around, and for the company throughout the poor weather! Highlights include 43007 on the XC HST set, 43104 on the other HST set, 66727 with 4Z89 Leeds - Long Marston and 60024 on 6E41. Also includes a fairly vast array of liverys!
